Hey Beauties, how is everyone?? Let me know in the comments!! As you know, I’ve spent this year working with small brands across the UK in hopes to help spread the word about them during this crazy time we are in. Everyone around the world is struggling with things but it’s the smaller brands that get forgotten about so here’s another mini-review for you!!
Party season is upon us, although I’m not sure how much partying to be exact that we will all be doing!! That being said, we still need to find a way to celebrate the festive season and I think we can all agree that it will involve alcohol. I’ve teamed up with 2 brands to show you that you can shop small and still have great taste!!
**This is a sponsored post. It may contain gifted items and/or affiliate links, but all my opinions/reviews are entirely my own!! I wouldn’t recommend something I didn’t agree with.**

Now I’m not an ale drinker at all, that’s my dad’s drink. But having being sent the Mixed Case from Bruha which contains 2 cans of IPA along with larger (that’s more like it) I was determined I wanted to try it. After all, no one brand tastes the same right??
I was pleasantly surprised at the fruity taste of them!!
Being in a small can (330ml) they were the perfect size as my dad would say, for an evening drink through the week rather than opening the bigger cans and only drinking half.
Ales are becoming more and more popular around the world and you can actually buy them in many different flavors. Rather than drink the full can I decided to try out a recipe on my Thermomix that I’ve been wanting to try out for a while now which needed ale as an ingredient. Beef in stout. You can read more about my Thermomix post here.

Us brits love us some pub grub, but, I’ve never been able to enjoy a Steak and Ale pie as the ales have always been too strong tasting. I’ve always thought of the taste as what soggy socks would be like haha. That being said, I used the Bruha ale in the recipe and it came out beautiful!! I really do believe it is due to the fruity background flavors I could taste in their ale.
I’d really recommend you giving them a try whether it’s cooking with as I did or if you’re an ale drinker. I think it could also make a great base for an alternative cocktail, I’m yet to think of something to pair it with though. If you have an idea then please let me know in the comments so I can test it out!!

Next up we have Noughty from Thomson & Scott. This is the first organic, vegan alcohol-free sparkling Chardonnay with almost half the sugar content of traditional alcohol-free sparkling wines and just 21 calories per 5 fl. oz glass!! Miracle or what?! Tamlyn Currin who is one of the world’s top wine gods was quoted stating that Noughty is “… hands down, the best alcohol-free sparkling wine I have ever tasted, and one of the best alcohol-free wines I’ve tasted overall.”
At just £8.99 a bottle this is an absolute bargain!! They also offer a subscription service which then gives you a discount.
Now I’m not promoting children drinking Chardonnay but, Vegan, alcohol-free, and low in calories?? How could I not use this for the sprogs!!
This is great for those who don’t want to drink alcohol but still want to not feel left out. In all honestly, I couldn’t even tell it was alcohol-free as it tasted the same. It has a crisp fresh taste to it, we put it in the fridge so it was nice and cold when we were ready to drink it.
Of course, the sprogs got involved, to take the dryness out of it we added a dash of orange juice to it so it was a mini mocktail and we had our very own princess champagne evening in the sun.

The list of cocktails you could make with this is endless. For my mam who doesn’t drink alcohol (once in a blue moon maybe) this would have been perfect the morning of my wedding!! It’s also a great alternative for those like myself who are on medication and should avoid alcohol the majority of the time to not be left out when it comes to those all-important toasts.
What is our favorite drink to celebrate?? Let me know in the comments!!

I’m not a big alcohol drinking, but the Noughty alcohol-free sparkling wine sounds amazing & delicious! That’s cute you made mocktails with it!
These are great recommendations. I wonder if they’re available in the United States.
