Anyone else have their children nagging to make/cook something but sometimes you’re just too drained or maybe you suffer with OCD and don’t like the mess. Well I tried this with the sprogs this week and apart from no mess it only took minutes to make!!
- Ready to roll Puff Pastry
- Filling of your choice e.g chocolate spread, jam ect.
Roll out the pastry flat, spread on your topping of chocie and roll it up then cut into sections of however thick/thin you desire. With one roll we made 10 rolls. It says on the packaging to leave it sit for a few minutes to come to room temp before cooking or doing anything with it, but with this I found it alot easier for the sprogs to handle spreading while it was fresh out of the fridge and still abit stiff.
When you’ve finished cutting, place on a baking tray in your oven on 180′ (pre heated) for 15-20 mins until they have a sllight puffy crisp to them. Leave to cool and enjoy!!
The sprogs really enjoyed doing this. It was simple and QUICK which is great as we all know that kids lose interest quickly in things. They tasted great and you could add pretty much any yummy filling for it to work!!
Let me know in the comment section if you try this and how it went, or if you have any quick fun things you like to do wth your own sprogs!!
Much Love – Mrs Slee-Jones xx
